DASP.
Decision Auto-Surface Protocol.
WHAT it is
DASP is the mechanism that prevents "Governance Drift." It ensures that prior logic is surfaced before a new, potentially contradictory decision is made.
HOW it works
Whenever a strategic or operational decision is being contemplated, DASP triggers an automatic search of the Decision Register. It surfaces:
- Precedent: "What did we decide the last time this topic arose?"
- Logic: "Why was that decision made (the constraint environment)?"
- Conflict: "Does the current proposal contradict that prior logic?"
WHY it matters
Most organizations "forget" their own intelligence. They solve the same problem twice, or worse, they undo a correct decision because the original logic was not visible. DASP installs permanent organizational memory.
Organizational Memory.
DASP is installed as part of the Artifact Registry system in the Foundation Tier.
